Much like in Skyward’s cloud application, the Skyward InFlight app also includes a Risk Assessment tool for the appraisal of operational risk before flying a mission. This document includes steps on creating and using the Risk Assessment tool and relies on knowledge that you know how to create or access an Operation using InFlight. For more details on those topics, please visit this page.
Note: Risk Assessment is not available offline.
To begin, open or create a new Operation. Once done, in the Preflight section, tap on the Risk Assessment icon.
The risk assessment window will open. To begin answering questions click on the top most checklist, in this case its Crew.
You can begin answering the questions to identify the level of risk associated with this operation. After selecting your answer, tap on the blue arrow in the bottom-right hand corner to proceed to the next question. You can go back and forth between questions by using those blue arrows.
Once you've completed the assessment you will see a completion message. To see a summary of the assessment, tap on Summary in the top left-hand corner.
To return to the operations details page, click on the X in the upper-right hand corner.
Now you will see that the Risk Assessment icon has turned green to indicate it has been completed and the risk is low. If there was a moderate risk, the color would be yellow. If the risk was high, the color would be red.
